Coast Southwest, Inc. celebrates the company’s tenth anniversary serving the personal care, surfactant, and silicone markets in Texas.
“Grand Prairie is the first branch we opened outside of California,” said Joseph C. Cimo, Coast Southwest’s president. “In the decade since we acquired Southwest Silicones, Coast Southwest has grown from a small operation to a dynamic, regional distribution hub that includes senior industry leaders who work directly with customers to develop and deliver unique ingredient concepts. Our growth in Texas has been phenomenal and plans are underway for an even more exciting future.”
Coast Southwest has recently acquired a new 30,000 square foot facility in Arlington, TX to accommodate the increasing demand for the company’s products and services. The new site will house local customer service, a regional sales office, warehousing, and an innovation center for the application of cutting-edge personal care ingredient technology. This Arlington location is situated on a 1.8-acre rail-served parcel which will allow for even further expansion including liquid bulk storage, packaging, and blending.”
Coast Southwest’s Grand Prairie-based personal care industry team applies their expert knowledge of cosmetic science, specialty raw materials, and consumer market trends to help customers create new products and improve existing formulas, especially in the categories of anti-aging, sun care, and color.
“Our commitment is to help our customers grow their businesses through innovative products from world-class manufacturers,” said Lisa M. Jones, general manager. “We will continue to invest significantly in our Dallas operation. Our goal is to deliver excellence to our customers in everything we do.”
