INCI Name: TETRASODIUM GLUTAMATE DIACETATE

Dissolvine® GL-47-S is a novel, bio-based, and readily biodegradable chelate that is derived from L-glutamic acid, a natural and renewable raw material. As such, Dissolvine® GL-47-S has an excellent environmental, health, and safety profile.

Compared to traditional EDTA-based sequestrants, Dissolvine® GL-47-S exhibits strong chelating power, while offering improved ecological and toxicological properties. It has high solubility over a wide pH range. Dissolvine® GL-47-S boosts the effectiveness of preservatives, reducing the amount of preservative needed to produce the desired effect. It does not sensitize human skin, and is particularly well suited for personal care.
